The value is great for the price; the location lets you see a lot of Vancouver, the Capilano Suspension Bridge, and even take a ferry to Victoria in one day. The room is spacious, very quiet, the bed is comfortable, and the small balcony is a nice bonus. It was a bit cold until I found the plug‑in heater, and an extra blanket on the bed would have helped, but overall it wasn’t a big deal.

Vivis Home sits south of Downtown, and with the bus and Skytrain you can reach Downtown easily; the airport is also not far. The family that hosts you is very welcoming, and you can park right on the street.

The room is beautiful, spacious, and has its own bathroom. It’s on the back side, so you’re not bothered by traffic on the front. The bed is large and there’s a chair to put things on. Public transport is close and will take you straight to Vancouver’s centre. Vivi and her husband are very kind and always ready to help. There’s a supermarket nearby for breakfast, and you can use a separate area of the house for that. There’s also a spot where you can make your own coffee and tea.
