Anyone who enjoys and appreciates history and beauty of old buildings, please don’t go to hotel, stay at this place instead. It is a beautiful gem and elevated our Malacca experience. When I booked, I was worried that it might be dusty or smell moldy, like many old buildings in tropical climates (especially since I’m a bit sensitive to those things). I was wrong, this place is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. I could tell the owner pays detail attention to keep this place well preserved. It provided a comfortable rest after walking along the busy streets on Saturday night. Highly highly recommend above all. And by the way, cakes at Something Bakery downstairs are yummy. Nothing. If you are sensitive to noise, I would recommend to bring earplugs especially as the bakery opens till 10pm, but it wasn’t an issue for us

The apartment is huge and beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds, and it’s an easy walk into town for food and sightseeing.
