I was pleasantly surprised by the location—right on the banks of the Olt with a staircase that drops straight onto the shore. We took a walk all the way to the Ostrov Monastery. The guesthouse had just been renovated, and my room offered a view of the Olt, with a superb landscape; the bed was incredibly comfortable and everything was spotless.

I only just found out about this place, even though we often go to Calimanesti. I liked how the barbecue area is very well organized and equipped, plus a huge two‑story courtyard. We barbecued twice and spent a lot of time in the courtyard and courtyard, especially since there’s a play area with a swing and a slide that kept our daughter occupied for quite a while. The apartment we stayed in is practically a two‑bedroom suite with a bathroom, more than enough for the three of us. It still smells like new furniture. I really liked the simple design.
