The location was great, just a short walk from the Ottaviano metro station and St. Peter’s Basilica, but the room didn’t match the photos: the bathroom was too small, the bidet was unusable, the TV didn’t work, the wardrobe door was broken, and the bathroom door didn’t open properly. The room was dirty, the linens weren’t changed, the window was broken so sound didn’t get out and cold air seeped in at night, and the power outlets near the bed didn’t work.

The spot was excellent, but the room was awful: the walls were scarred by time, the shower didn’t supply water, the toilet seat was split, and the kitchen felt like a basement.

Getting there was easy by metro and bus, making it a perfect choice for a Roman stay, with no complaints.

Only the location mattered, just a stone’s throw from St. Peter’s Square, yet the climate control didn’t work, the furnishings were outdated, the ceiling fan was useless, the lights stayed on, and the staff was absent—so when we checked in we couldn’t even find the apartment key.
