It was a decent hotel for a stopover on our way from Vienna to Slovenia. Graz is a nice university town, and the hotel is in a pleasant green area just outside the city, but not far.

A gorgeous spot on Graz’s outskirts, surrounded by cute animals and peaceful scenery; the building feels charming and the breakfast area has a very traditional vibe.

The food at the restaurant was excellent, the breakfast was good, the staff were very friendly, and the location was quiet and pleasant.

The area was very quiet. The downside was that there was no breakfast at Hitschenhof or at Gästehaus Sonne, where we ended up; breakfast was only available at the main house, which required walking or driving several hundred meters.
