“Один из лучших отелей в Северном Гоа.”
The hotel in Bage is pretty decent, with a well‑maintained pool whose water stays warm and is treated every evening. The surroundings are lush with greenery, palm trees and flowers. We got a room in the block that looks out onto a field, and we loved hanging out on the tiny balcony after a walk to the ocean. The reception staff listen to all your requests, can help with currency exchange, and will call a taxi for you. The on‑site restaurant is respectable, offering tasty shrimp salad and lepeshek. The fish we bought was cooked with garlic for dinner and served with excellent beer. Prices in the restaurant are moderate, but the portions are huge – we ordered a salad and a main dish for two. There’s a bar on the second floor where you can play games. The restaurant manager speaks Russian, is helpful, kind, and polite. The staff overall are friendly and very focused on guests. The beach is close, and prices in Bage are reasonable. A 5‑minute bus ride for 20 rupees gets you to the fishing market in Kalangut, where you can also find fruit and more. Opposite the hotel, at the fork, there’s a bike rental shop. Cleaning is like everywhere in India; you get only one towel per person on request. Rooms lack air conditioning, so it gets warm at night.
