“Déçus..”
The staff were fairly welcoming, the restaurant and breakfast were very good, and the setting was quite pretty. We were very disappointed, though—we booked a Jacuzzi room with a pool view for privacy, but on arrival there was none available, and we were “upgraded” to a room with a private pool that was poorly located, filthy, and offered zero privacy because it faced the pool walkway. After we complained at the front desk, they “kindly” moved us again. The hotel looks impressive at first glance, but the details are disastrous: nothing is maintained, the door lock worked only half the time forcing us to spend at least five minutes wrestling with it, the bathroom faucets were chipped and rusty, the main pool ladder was broken, and housekeeping was shoddy for a four‑star property—hair on the floor, spider webs on chandeliers, unbearable sewer odors that made us keep the windows open all stay. The location isn’t great, and the town outside the hotel isn’t very attractive.
