The beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was lovely and the staff were friendly, and the location was good. My friend and I stayed in a twin room on the top floor and felt the decor was very much outdated; it didn’t bother us much because the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom really needed an update. The bathroom was quite small, so a nice new shower unit would have been enough instead of a bath, in keeping with the lovely building.

The place was fabulous, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and breakfast was amazing. Nothing else.

The location was fine and very central for our needs; breakfast was freshly cooked with plenty of choice. Parking was difficult because the car park is small.
