The staff were very friendly, breakfast was plentiful from 06:30 and you could eat at the on‑site restaurant in the evening, the room was spacious, clean, had a TV with plenty of channels, and there were plenty of parking spots during my stay.

Everything was fine and clean, parking was free, but the breakfast was sparse.

A wonderful stay full of old‑fashioned hospitality ❤️ From the moment we arrived we were met with a warm, heartfelt welcome by the hostess, who showed us our spacious, lovely room and made us feel right at home. What a sweet, welcoming family! You’re truly pampered here. The atmosphere is warm, personal and exactly what hospitality meant in the past – and fortunately they’ve managed to keep that. We also savored the food – the extensive breakfast, the delicious lunch and the superb dinner were all fantastic, and we especially enjoyed a lovely game‑meat dish. And then there’s the fantastic Biergarten… what a great spot to enjoy a good beer and the cozy vibe! If you’re in the Black Forest and looking for an authentic, atmospheric hotel with great hospitality, excellent food, and a beautiful Biergarten, this place is a must‑visit.
