The Sequoia Nationalpark was easy to get to, but the breakfast left a lot to be desired – they only offered pre‑packed muesli and no milk.

The location was excellent, the continental breakfast was good, and the kitchen staff were wonderfully friendly, but the night receptionist was very abrupt.

I liked that it’s close to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon and the staff were friendly, yet when I booked we were told it would be a pool‑view room but we were sent all the way to the end of the property; the AC seemed to be on a timer that kept shutting off, so we kept waking up because it was too hot.
