The location was excellent and charming, our country house was cozy, clean, and well furnished, and we enjoyed a fantastic hike; however, the outdoor areas were not kept to the highest standard—animal droppings were left unbroomed, there was no pool service, the drinks list omitted cocktails, the service staff varied in competence, and cheerfulness was not always the top priority.
