Nothing good about this location; I had to walk on toilet paper in the bathroom because the floor was so filthy and I couldn’t even sit on the toilet or shower. The owner called me a mother f****r, claiming the place was the most disgusting hotel I’ve EVER stayed at. He tried to sneak into my room, claiming I was alone, and woke me up for checkout 40 minutes early without knocking or announcing himself. He used his key to open the door, not expecting my husband to be in bed with me—thank God he was, because it was hard to tell what the man had planned.

“Horrible”

The room was not clean enough for my standards: the carpet wasn’t updated, the back entry door didn’t lock, the dumpster outside was overflowing, and the do‑not‑disturb sign was ignored by housekeeping. Mosquitoes flew in, the TV had only basic cable, the lamps were old and rusty, and the lighting was terrible, giving no sense of cleanliness or sanitation. We had to use hotel towels on the floor to keep our stuff, lay one in the shower to stand on, and the door would stay open unless we slammed it hard. Everything.

The spot was easy to reach, but the place felt run down, with a strong mold and mildew smell and the cleaning was noticeably poor.

I was grateful that they kept my lost ring safe until I could retrieve it, yet the AC barely worked until I pulled the filter, the entry light was dead and the attendant just told me to use other lights, the pool was closed without any notice—which was the main reason I booked there—and my supposedly handicap‑accessible room was unusable: the wheelchair wouldn’t fit in the bathroom, there were no rails or handles, and the shower was inaccessible, forcing me to leave and pay for another room elsewhere to shower safely. It was a terrible experience and I wouldn’t have stayed if not for exhaustion.
