Air-conditioned rooms feature pay TV, free WiFi, and private bathrooms, with balconies overlooking the Ionian Sea or Mount Etna. The hotel is 1 km from the city centre, 1.5 km from Le Ciminiere convention centre, and 8 km from Fontanarossa International Airport.

The hotel sits right on the waterfront, parking is available, and the pool is definitely the highlight, though the building feels old and the lobby isn’t cool enough.

The setting was pleasant and quiet, with a private beach that’s excellent—though not suitable for small children. The hotel features a pool with a bar, and there are underground and surface garages. Everything was fine.

The staff are approachable and willing, and we were able to leave our backpacks at the reception until the afternoon. The place is clean and tidied every day. However, you have to pay separately for the beach umbrellas and loungers, although beach access is free.

The hotel is really great, the location is good if you’re planning to travel around Sicily; the beach next to the hotel isn’t swim‑friendly because of the rocky coast, but there’s a sandy beach about 2 km away. A supermarket and a Chinese shop close by have everything you could need. My girlfriend’s birthday was celebrated with a free bottle of prosecco from the staff.
