MOTEL 6 - Albany, NY - Airport

Where to begin: the toilet seat wasn’t attached, the weed smell was strong, I worried my car might not be there in the morning because of the sketchy vibe, the bathroom sink handle stayed still while the whole faucet spun and was unlevel. The bed wasn’t terribly uncomfortable and it was cheap. I was glad I wasn’t staying alone!

“was very disappointed to say the least”

Nothing was good; it was disgusting. The room was dirty, the door was open before I even entered, the shower hadn’t been cleaned and still had open soap from the previous guest, it smelled, the floors were visibly dirty, the pillows were stained and flat, and it seemed no one had cleaned the room.

I stayed with my mother and brother for a single night at a motel and we only received four towels; when my brother asked if we needed more, he was told none were available, and the two‑bedroom, two‑bathroom setup was far from pleasant.

“Disappointed”

The staff were extremely rude, forcing us to clean our own room; after we called the housekeeper, she handed us cleaning supplies, and the front desk guy insulted my husband when he mentioned he had to clean, then told me not to return, so I will never stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone.

If you want a fully American‑style motel experience, this place does the job, but it was very dirty and seemed insecure, with a bathroom door that was completely broken, hair scattered on the floor, stains on the bed and hair in the towels.
