The location is good for a layover stay, and the reception was friendly. The car can be parked behind a closed gate. The beds are good, and you can also use the heated outdoor pool if you wish. Breakfast can be booked separately; it was fine but only included sweet spreads, no cheese or cold cuts. It’s a bit farther from the motorway, but that was fine for us. The only downside is the lack of cheese and cold cuts at breakfast.

A prime spot with ample secure parking, a gorgeous property and pool, a superb bed and air‑con, plus a host who was friendly, helpful, and fascinating to chat with. The only downside was that we had to leave early.
