The hotel’s location near the Mayo Clinic, the staff’s kindness and professionalism, and their readiness to help are all major pluses. The lounge is fully stocked. The building feels a bit dated and could use a remodel, but the cleanliness and the staff’s friendliness made up for it.

The hotel’s closeness to the Mayo Clinic is its biggest advantage. Once it seemed above average, but now it looks worn and tired; some items are quite old. Our room was dim, and a burned‑out bathroom bulb wasn’t replaced after I requested it.

The staff were wonderful, but there was black mold in the shower and the pillows and bed were uncomfortable.
