I liked how easy it was to find the place and its location, but the showers were very cold, the electricity kept going in and out, and I ended up having to pay with cash even though I saw they accepted card payments.

The neighborhood feels safe, the supermarket is within walking distance, the room comes with a kitchen, electronic key cards, 24/7 security, WiFi, and hot water in the showers, but the kitchen is poorly equipped, staff are not very communicative or nice, service is lacking, everything feels run down, there is no safe in the room, card payments aren’t possible, we booked for two people yet only one breakfast per room was provided, the room wasn’t very clean, and no information about load shedding was given.

My second stay at Matt was marked by friendly and polite staff who were quick to assist, but there was no variety in breakfast.
