We especially liked the exceptional setting of the property; the surrounding landscape was absolutely beautiful, in a nearly paradisiacal natural environment. The hotel is also relatively close to Tofino: a car is required for travel, but the location remains very convenient while still allowing a peaceful and scenic experience. What we liked less was mainly the significant gap between the price and the positioning of the establishment, and the actual services offered. Through Booking and the various information we consulted before our stay, we did not really realize it was not a typical hotel or resort, but rather a high‑end nature‑based accommodation concept. The concept is interesting and the setting is absolutely gorgeous, but you need to know that the services are quite limited compared to the rate. There is no real restaurant or breakfast area directly integrated into the property. Dining options are provided by external partners, sometimes with long waits, even just to get a coffee in the morning. We therefore regretted the lack of services and comfort one would normally expect at this price range. The room also disappointed us a lot. The equipment was quite old and, overall, the level of comfort and amenities did not seem to match the price paid. The bed was very large, but the mattress sagged noticeably in the middle and was truly uncomfortable. The bathroom also seemed very dated, especially the plumbing and shower fixtures. The shower itself was uncomfortable and did not allow for a pleasant experience. Overall, the room’s standard felt more like a two‑ or three‑star accommodation than what one might expect given the rate. The staff were nevertheless very friendly and welcoming.

“It was so beautiful here. I”

The location was spectacular and the view from the room was perfect; the massage/facial was perfect; I loved Surf Sister and the private lesson we had, but the shower lacked water pressure.
