Nice, polite staff were available; the room on our last night was perfect with karaoke and full comfort, a shame we had to leave for the airport so early. The area was calm and quiet.

It's a small hotel tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood. A great choice if you wanted somewhere quiet. Meals included were also tasty. A great selection of drinks and amenities in the room. I was initially given a room in the basement. I'd probably live with if if my stay was just for 1 night but I was staying for 4 nights. In the end, I managed to upgrade to another room at an extra cost

The rooms were decorated with many lovely small touches and thoughtful amenities, and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive; room service was delicious and the Kaiseke breakfast was lovely. The hotel is located in a quieter area, which might be a plus for some, and it is well connected with a short walk to the nearest station.

The number of small extras in the room was top! Everything was 1000% equipped. The climate made a little noise but it was not disturbing.

The location was great and the private sauna in the room was a nice touch, plus the complimentary toiletries and drinks were appreciated. Unfortunately, out of the six Japanese hotels I’ve visited, this one was by far the worst; I booked a queen‑standard room expecting a pleasant finish to my trip, but ended up in a basement room with no window, only a skylight above an outdoor shower attached to the sauna for any natural light. The mattress was overly firm, and the fan/exhaust was extremely loud and clearly dirty, covered in dust fluff. The air‑conditioning was weak and noisy, forcing me to use earplugs to sleep. The room was cramped and poorly laid out: the toilet was oddly positioned, the bathroom flooded after each shower because a short curtain failed to contain the water, and there weren’t enough power sockets. Breakfast had to be ordered the day before on a tablet, which was fine until the menu stayed in Japanese despite selecting English, turning the ordering into a guessing game, with no way to note allergies or intolerances. Service felt minimal with almost no human interaction; staff didn’t help with luggage even when we had to climb a few steps out of the hotel. It was especially disappointing because I had started my trip at another property of the same chain, HOTELみなと‑MINATO‑, which had been excellent. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
