The room was clean and comfortable, but we chose the Travel Lodge in Depot Bay, Oregon to celebrate our fifty‑second anniversary hoping to see whales, which my wife loves, yet fog blocked the ocean view for most of our stay. The TV stopped working halfway through, there was no breakfast, only one hand‑capped parking spot, and we stayed 4 nights but only received maid service one day.

We had a beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The room looked recently refurbished fairly new and modern. Breakfast was pretty basic with tea and coffee and a few muesli bars
