“Etwas enttäuschend”
The area was gorgeous and very quiet; the house’s owner was very friendly and everything was easily reachable. The breakfast was tasty with a great selection, and the restaurant food was also good. We didn’t really like the single rooms; the shower stalls felt like a van, very small and cramped. The advertised cosmetics weren’t available, no hand soap, and the towels were extremely thin and looked old. The toilet brush was worn out with few bristles, and there were many spider webs on the ceiling. The carpets throughout the house were worn and partly dirty. One waiter seemed overwhelmed, brought us the bill before we asked, and we were annoyed because we wanted to pay by card instead of cash. Comparing the hotel to its photos, the first image doesn’t match; the big mountain isn’t actually that close, and the meadow didn’t look inviting. A bit more upkeep would help. There was no Wi‑Fi. All in all, the Panorama Hotel Lilienstein feels overpriced given everything. I’ve stayed in many hotels and always write honest reviews.
