The place was very positive and quiet, just right for us during our trip; we stayed for one night to take a break from our errands, and the location met all our expectations. The location, cleanliness of the property and the room, and all the amenities were flawless, the beds were very comfortable. Adding to that a friendly owner and a very good and varied breakfast, we can say that this short stay at the guesthouse was very satisfactory. We didn’t notice any issues… maybe a positive addition would have been air‑conditioning in the room (we were in the middle of a heatwave), but fortunately our room was positioned so it didn’t heat up much, so overall it was fine.

The staff were very open and gave us tips and information about the area, possible activities, or local matters. We especially liked the uncomplicated and friendly interactions (“short chain of command”); Frau Fraune personally drove us to Paderborn to spare us the supposedly long journey by public transport! Nothing else!
