Chill House at Naiyang

“Good location, worst service.”

The location is good, close to the beach, and it’s peaceful. The room decor is fine, but that’s about it. There is no service at all – nonexistent. No lift, so don’t book if you have luggage; they won’t help you take bags upstairs. No tea or coffee sachets even though they have a water heater and a coffee maker. No dustbins in the room, no hand towels, no tissue box, and only the bare minimum toiletries. Furniture layers are peeling off. The AC is weak and stops working as soon as you remove the access card, and they don’t give you an extra card to keep it running in the hot, humid climate. The access door doesn’t open properly; you have to hit it hard to open. I was scared and called the number on reception twice, and a kid came and opened it. After check‑out, I asked the staff to turn on the fan or AC and they refused, saying they would not. They were super rude, and I’ll never go back.

“Horrible”

Not much, the staff were horrible. The reception staff were absolutely awful to me – I’ve never been treated so badly at any hotel. I asked if they could hold my luggage for a few hours and they said no in the worst possible way. Their attitude was super negative and rude.

“Was relaxing and clean and the staff were helpful”

Reception helped us at 11 pm after our late flight; it was a decent distance from the beach.

The room was pleasant but lacked basic items: only one small trash bin, no table or chairs on the balcony. It’s well situated for the beach and shops, yet communication with staff was sparse, and the missing tissues, trash, and balcony chair were noticeable.
