Pia and Kurt were welcoming and genuinely helpful, pointing us toward great hikes and sharing stories about the mountains. From the bed we could see the Wetterhorn dominate the valley and even spot the Eiger in the distance, while their multi‑level garden was a lovely spot to unwind after a day of walking. The apartment itself is tiny—no sofa, just two chairs at a small table, and the kitchenette is barely functional, especially the stovetop which they keep off to avoid smells.
