Located 150 m from Lake Garda’s shore in central Desenzano, Hotel Moniga sits beside the cathedral and a five‑minute walk from the pier serving ferries to Riva del Garda. Light‑colored décor, wood furnishings, parquet floors, air‑conditioned rooms with LCD cable TV, and some street‑view options create a bright ambience. A simple Italian breakfast with coffee, cappuccino and croissant is offered each morning. The A4 motorway lies 4 km away.

The staff's friendliness really stood out, the room was super comfortable, bright, large, and airy, and the bathroom was also very good; only a missing shelf for items, which isn't important. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent.

Everything was spotless and I had everything I needed; the couple who own it were lovely and made no effort to trouble me, and the outdoor breakfast with fresh pastries was really, really good. It sits in a great spot, just off the main shopping street and very close to the ferry port. The room was a bit dark because the old building has narrow windows and shutters, but that wasn't the property's fault; when I got to the train station, there were no taxis and many angry people, so I walked in the heat and it was hard to go downhill with two suitcases.

Great location, but the bathroom is really old, the shower is tiny, and the hose in the shower is short.

El trato de los dueños excepcional, una ubicación inmejorable, justo en el centro, cerca de restaurantes y transporte, el hotel estaba muy limpio y todo muy bien organizado. Todo estuvo bien
