“This small older motel is extremely well maintained and should be what all older roadside motels should aspire to.”

The place looked much fresher than my last visit, with plenty of toiletries like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and a comb—something you rarely see even in 5‑star spots. A bottle of water and a small basket of fruit and cookies were handed to us when we arrived. They added a big deck with outdoor lighting that’s a nice spot to relax, and the proprietor was extremely friendly. I’d definitely recommend it. The only downside was that the countertop ice maker was taken by someone else after they left in the morning.

The owner was nice, but the toilet was squeezed between the wall and the sink, leaving barely enough space to sit. The AC kept cycling off all night, making it too warm to sleep, and the table lamp between the beds blasted an obnoxiously bright white light.

“I was hoping for something better. We paid roughly the same price for Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn, etc.”

The staff were friendly and the room was quiet, but the metal frame on the bed rattled whenever I moved or got in, and there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom. The bathroom was so small that even an average‑sized person like me had to be careful to fit in and close the door without bumping into things.

“OK for a one-night stay”

Convenient, clean, and equipped with basic amenities, plus they provided water bottles. However, the building feels old and needs upgrades, the noise insulation is poor, and the bathroom is small.
