Everything was exceptional, the cleanliness, the homemade food and the reasonable prices and the peaceful atmosphere and amazing views. Nothing!

This little boutique spot is super quiet. We stayed in room 5 for four nights and felt the staff genuinely worked hard to keep the stay peaceful and relaxed from start to finish. Clean towels and freshly made beds every day were a plus, and breakfast was fresh and varied each morning. Dining at the restaurant nightly was a treat, and the kayaks added extra fun. Proximity to Lopes Mendes is a real bonus, immersing you in the rainforest—be ready for the full soundtrack of nature, which is magical. The only hiccup was the hot water taking a while to heat up; it probably wouldn't be an issue during cooler months.

The property is gorgeous and secluded, with nightly sounds of wildlife and waves that make it incredibly peaceful. Felipe and the rest of the staff were all wonderful hosts. The food felt like a hearty, home‑cooked meal and was fantastic. We’re already looking forward to another visit. The only note is that access is only by taxi‑boat—shared or private—and the private ones can be pricey but are the only ones available at certain times.

The lodge is tucked away in nature, the staff very nice, and Felipe was especially welcoming and helpful; it’s exactly what you need if you want solitude. The only downside was the limited food choices and the room door wasn’t fully sealed—when it rained at night we could hear it loudly and it woke us up.

Breakfast was delicious, though you’re given a set of options at the table with no choice to pick; the hotel is lovely and only has four rooms, so service feels very personalized. The only issue was that from the second day we woke up with itching on our ankles and legs, which lasted the whole stay; we think we were bitten by fleas at night.
