“Great location and an exceptional breakfast, but missing a few room comforts”

We enjoyed a pleasant stay at Boutique Hotel Vila Efekt, which sits just a 5‑minute drive from the city centre and gives off a charming boutique vibe with high cleanliness standards. The rooms felt a little dated and lacked a mini‑fridge and a coffee/tea station, but that wasn’t a major issue. Checking in was a bit confusing because the reception is tucked inside the restaurant, but once you get used to it it’s fine. Breakfast was a real highlight—delicious and varied. The staff were generally friendly, though some struggled with English, which made communication a little tough at times. The air‑conditioning system was odd: each room has its own unit, yet the controls appear to be linked or managed from the reception/restaurant area, so adjusting the temperature individually is inconvenient. All in all, it’s a solid 4‑star experience, but adding a fridge and coffee/tea facilities to the rooms and fixing those small operational quirks would make it even better.

Breakfast was very good and varied. The room was well equipped and impeccably clean, and there were plenty of free parking spots. The staff were very friendly. The location was average because it’s a bit hard for older people to walk to the centre—there are almost no pavements or pedestrian crossings. The hotel has a restaurant, but it’s closed on Sundays.

Krásná lokalita pro výlety. Snídaně brzy došla a už se nedoplnilo. Servírka otrávená, znechucená. Chybělo některé nádobí, konkrétně konvice na čaj (opět nedoplněno ). Pokoje malinké, zima a vše tam bylo slyšet skrze zdi od vedle z pokojů
