The spot is unbeatable – views are amazing, but the place feels a bit run down. There's an electric cable in the shower, the beds are old and two mattresses make it hard to sleep, linens look like they've been used before. Tap water isn't drinkable, so you have to fetch water elsewhere, and flies swarm in as soon as you open the door.

This place is a real gem by the lake, but it feels more like a historic house than a modern resort. The big main room is oddly shaped, the side rooms are traditional. You can step out the back and be in the lake in ten steps. The petrol station across the road has a tiny grocery and a smaller fruit shop. The kitchen is a bit cluttered, windows are covered in dead flies—keep the door shut or they'll invade.

The spot by the water is magical, the gear is comfy, you can swim, the owner was super friendly and cooked a hearty fish dinner. The only downside was having to leave.

Fantastic house, great spot, atmospheric vibe. But flies in the evenings and the beach isn't really suitable for swimming.

Beautiful lakeside spot with mountain view and bird islands, Babik welcomed us warmly and even cooked fish for us twice. The water supply has a lot of air, so the tap sometimes sputters and splashes everywhere.
