The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and the view of the pyramids is great, but the surrounding area is awful with a lot of trash, bad smells, and open drains—though that's just part of Cairo. We need better housekeeping; during the 5 days we stayed there was no cleaning in the room. The tours they offered felt like we were just paying a private driver, and we still had to pay separately for entrance tickets; if you wanted a guide who spoke your language you had to pay a huge extra fee per day.

The location is superb, just a few steps from the entrance to the Giza Pyramids site. The accommodation has a nice panoramic terrace; even though the view is partially blocked by nearby buildings, the vibe remains evocative. Breakfast is good and filling. A special shout‑out to the staff: they are extremely kind and always ready to help with any need. There was a bit of confusion at check‑in because the name on the website didn’t match the actual name of the property (the real name is Pyramids Sunlight Hotel). A light layer of dust was present on the furnishings.

The price was definitely right, and the location was great - we could walk to the pyramids. The little courtyard was pretty and the house was nice, with easy parking. The breakfast was.interesting, and I'm glad they had a hair dryer. However, check-in was a bit of a hassle, and the room wasn't spotless - the sheets were pilled and there were some hairs on them. The WiFi was weak, and the hot water ran out mid-shower, which was a bit of a rush.

The uncle who runs the place is super kind, which makes up for some of the drawbacks. I felt safe, the water was hot, and the view of the pyramids is unbeatable - it's a great location. However, the proximity to the stables is a downside, with a pretty strong smell of feces that's hard to ignore. The rooms could use some improvement on the hygiene front, like mattress covers and hand soap, and the internet is basically non-existent on the upper floors. Plus, no breakfast is provided.
