Claire was such a lovely host that she made us feel very welcome; the bed was comfortable, the home was charming and warm, and the view of her well‑maintained block was beautiful. She and her partner work hard, and we’re so grateful!
The host is great and warm, the house is lovely, the location is perfect, and everything is clean and just great all around.
The host was attentive, the room was spotless and the bed was incredibly comfy! The place felt magical even in bad weather, and we could relax and enjoy a superb breakfast.

Claire was an incredible host! When I booked, I mentioned I’d arrive by bicycle, and she actually drove down the road to pick me up and then gave me a lift back. It was a terribly windy evening and the hills and headwind were exhausting, so her kindness meant a lot. She also cooked an amazing dinner. This B&B is lovely, has two beautiful dogs, and I recommend it to anyone passing through on their way to either Auckland or Rotorua.
