The water pressure and temperature were fantastic, and the location was great. The place was quiet with a nice view from the lounge and dining table. On the second night the heat didn't turn on, so the fireplace only cooled the lounge air. The bed was too firm for my taste anyway.

I appreciated the extensive history about the nurses' home and how the original building's charm was preserved. The communal lounge and facilities were great, especially sitting by the warm fireplace at night after a day on the mountain. The variety of facilities and activities—like bikes to ride around town and board games—was amazing. We’re definitely planning to stay again and bring more friends next time! There were a few small patches in the room and on the bed that cleaning missed, but that was barely an issue. It was a bit disappointing that the spa pools weren't working, but I wasn’t even expecting them to be available.

I had to check out late because of unforeseen circumstances, and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. The room was next to the kitchen, which made it a little noisy with the kids staying there.
