“Didn't sleep much. Disappointed”
The price was reasonable, yet we expected far more after seeing so many 10‑star reviews on Bookings. The room was clean, and the front desk offered to call a taxi if my Grab didn’t arrive. However, the bed was broken and we had to roll to the middle. When we arrived, the woman at the desk couldn’t locate our reservation. There was no coffee in the room, and the nearest coffee shop didn’t open until 9 am. The bathroom lacked toilet paper, so I had to go to the office and find a roll there while no one was present. A call to prayer at 5:15 am could be heard loudly, and the room’s proximity to the road meant motorbike noise persisted into the night and early morning. The neighbor next door had a motorcycle and was coming and going all evening. There were more issues, but I think the main points are clear.
