“Excellent would happily stay again”
Great location in the centre of a small town, close to the dual carriageway, an excellent menu for evening meals with a contrast between light and more substantial dishes, the room was large and comfortable. The car space was a little small but it’s a minor issue.

Beautiful old building with great character and charm, spotlessly clean, staff were courteous, efficient, polite and friendly, and they clearly enjoy working there. Nothing.

The location was lovely, the evening meal was something special and reasonably priced, the breakfast was cooked to order and of good quality, I arrived early and the staff let me wait at my table and gave me coffee. I would have liked the option of Black Pudding for breakfast.
A spacious Family room that was spotless, and the pub room had toys and a super doles house, plus a yard for outdoor play. The restaurant was excellent, and the staff welcomed the grandchildren warmly, so everyone had a great time. It’s a solid choice for anyone visiting the Fleet Air Arm Museum, which is just around the corner, and it’s roughly an hour away from Weymouth. No complaints.
