The location is near the sights, which is the only good thing. The hotel has no reception, so getting in is very difficult and you need to be a smartphone expert to follow all the links that act as “keys” to open the doors.

We tried to reach the address sent to my email – Via Principe Amedeo, 165 – but that place doesn’t exist, they tricked us! The contact number +39 3519273194 never answers, so I don’t recommend anyone.

The heating didn’t work. The bathroom drain leaked and they didn’t fix it. The lock was unreliable and they gave me conflicting instructions on how to open or close the door, and the key tag was wrong. When I messaged them on WhatsApp about any of these issues, I kept getting a reply that their office was closed at 13h, and they always took a long time to respond. My room was number 2. The bathroom was tiny and narrow. Even if you’re not handy, the key makes it hard to open the door.

I liked the owner – she was friendly, sent me the room details, and answered my WhatsApp messages. The room was tidy and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the location: everything was close – train and bus stations, restaurants, pharmacy, and some nice sights. I didn’t like two things: first, the heating system – even after I talked to the landlady and she sent a technician, it still didn’t heat the room well and it stopped working at night, so we were freezing. Second, I expected slippers, laundry supplies, and an oven in the room, but they were missing. Overall it was fine, and given the price and location, it’s worth staying here because you get a private room at that rate.
