“Hotel hezký, ale zůstala pachuť.”
The only thing I liked about this hotel was the pool, which was clean, large, and the pool area was great, but the whole thing ends badly. I paid for a stay when the listing said the amount included fees and taxes; upon arrival a payment carousel started, charging for everything—from parking to all sports facilities and equipment. Children can use the pool from 10:00 to 19:00, but are not allowed in the gym at all, and you can’t find this out beforehand. If I’d known, I would have avoided this hotel with my kids. I booked a room for 2 adults and 2 children, yet the room had only one chair and two glasses; the rest of the furniture was on the floor and the glasses were supposedly borrowed? What? The cherry on top was that for dinner with fries we got mayonnaise in a Bakelite container—those single-portion Hellmann’s. Does a 4* chef not know how to make homemade mayonnaise? Go away! BTW it’s not a 4* at all, more like a 3* with a touch of the fourth for the pool. If I had been informed about the payments and restrictions beforehand, I wouldn’t have said a word; I count on that, but this feels like consumer deception. For the same or slightly higher amount you can get nicer, better-equipped hotels right in Prague that are truly 4* or 5*. It’s more of a corporate event hotel, not for families with kids.
