I liked how close it was to the main road and the shop, and the windows were well insulated. But the building smelled like cigarettes from the start, and the apartment had a septic‑tank odor. I had to hang a towel at the door to keep the cigarette smell out. Even after three days with the windows open, the smell lingered. When I used the oven and stove, the power cut out and I had to call the owner to fix the fuse. In the last two days the shower was clogged and water leaked out.
