“Que du bonheur”
We spent nine days at Mare Magnum and it was pure bliss. The spot is spot‑on: if you want to hit Naples, Sorrento, Pompeii, Herculaneum, the EAV station is under five minutes away. A cruise to Capri or along the Amalfi coast can be boarded straight from the harbor. For Paestum, the other Trainline station is less than ten minutes. Castellamare di Stabia isn’t a tourist‑only place; it’s an authentic Italian town. Whether in the city or on the seaside promenade, you’re right in the middle of the locals. In the morning, from your balcony, you see them jogging; in the evening, when the whole town lights up, you stroll among families and young people on the long shore in a warm, summer vibe. The room faces the sea in a lovely renovated traditional building. From the balcony you can admire Vesuvius and gorgeous sunsets (we were also front‑row for the spectacular fireworks). Everything is perfect, everything is new: the room is bright, a big bed, a walk‑in shower… you feel at home fast. Ferdinando does everything to make your stay pleasant. He’s both discreet and attentive, kindly checking in regularly to see if all is well. We also met Madame; both are lovely people you immediately trust. Thanks again for the welcome and the exceptional vacation. Agnès and Christian
