We stayed at Pensieri Di Cavatina for a few days in September, and it was the perfect start to our vacation. We came straight from our hectic everyday lives and immediately felt calm and relaxed. The hill view is beautiful, especially at sunrise! We loved the breakfast, and the property offers plenty of space to read, chill by the pool, or simply sit outside and enjoy the view. There are also many great restaurants for dinner nearby, all just a 10–20 minute drive away. One day we spent the whole day by the pool with drinks and books, and the next day we took a day trip to Siena. If you’re looking for a place to truly slow down, without any noise or action – this is it! We will definitely come back! Also, we brought our two little dogs with us, and the staff was so lovely and kind to them. They really made it the perfect little getaway for all of us! ❤️

We had a 10‑hour drive and decided to splurge on a place with a hot tub; when we checked in we found ourselves in line for the large outdoor tub. The water was lukewarm, so we pumped up the temperature and waited an hour. After an hour we came back with our robes and a drink, and the temperature had not changed at all. I asked the hotel manager, and he shrugged and said he couldn’t help. Went to bed :(
