It was convenient for where we were headed. I ended up paying for valet parking, even though the booking said parking would be free.

The building is a beautiful old structure in a lovely area. The elevators are just too slow!

The location was perfect, putting us close to all the sights we came to Birmingham to see. I loved the authenticity and rich history of the hotel. The parking situation forced us to use the $38.00 per day valet parking. 😡
