The on‑sen hot spring was lovely, but I couldn’t get comfortable with the pillow – why did they only provide that pricey one? Also, the ice‑maker ran out of ice and never got refilled, so I couldn’t use it.

When I left something behind on a previous visit, the staff called right away, packed it carefully and mailed it to me, which I appreciated; it would be even better if they could start breakfast a little earlier.
