“Relaxing”
I only found the 3 pm check‑in a bit early for a single‑night stay; an extra hour would have helped, but otherwise the hotel and its staff were excellent.
The dog‑friendly policy really worked—staff greeted our dog Goose with enthusiasm, and the room itself was gorgeous.

The location is fantastic for hiking the Mournes, the Jacuzzi offers a beautiful view, and the breakfast was lovely, but the room was very dark—just a bit more light would make a big difference.

Breakfast was lovely, the location stunning, and the staff went out of their way when I messed up my booking, arranging our massages a day early; Zoe was a great masseur. The pool was closed on the day we left, and had we stayed that night as originally booked, we would have been disappointed because no notice was given.
