The staff were friendly, the restaurant was good, and parking was excellent—right next to the property with no extra charge. The address was confusing because it wasn’t in Hexham itself.

The place is great, clean, and the breakfast is good; the bar with a pool table was fantastic and the evening meal was lovely.

The setting is beautiful and the bed is comfy; the bar and restaurant on the same premises offer a traditional pub meal, and the breakfast was excellent.

The food at dinner and breakfast was freshly cooked and good. The staff were pleasant. The hotel is up for sale and we were the only people staying. Our room felt cold which a plug in radiator fouldn't quite dispel
