The location was great, the vibe was very friendly and the owners were super kind. A tiny fridge in the room kept a few foods cool. The shared kitchen let us cook a bit. The only drawback was that there were no trash cans in the room except a small one in the bathroom, but we managed fine.

Family Wimmer was very friendly. The house sits in a top spot. The view from our balcony was breathtakingly beautiful. The room was cozy. There’s a sauna that can be rented cheaply, which is perfect after long hikes. The kitchen utensils (glasses, plates, knives, etc.) were quite sparse, and I wish there had been a separate oven. Knowing other holiday rentals, I was prepared. A communal kitchen is available where you can use an oven.

The location was excellent, close to all attractions.

The spot was very close to the eagle’s nest. The family owns animals that give a strong “Heidi” vibe. Good amenities. The apartment is large and the beds are comfortable. The décor is very rustic and typical of a Bavarian house. There’s a parking zone for the car, which is very useful given the location. Because the family works there, some machine noise may occur, but nothing special.

The décor was pretty, and the location feels very peaceful and idyllic, but it’s also quite remote and only reachable by car via steep roads. There were no staff members who could have given us any directions.
