The hotel’s spot is perfect for visiting Basel. The room is huge, with very comfortable beds and pillows. The bathroom is also spacious and spotlessly clean. The front desk provides free water and lemon water, and you can have free coffee whenever you like. Breakfast is a buffet and tastes great. The receptionist speaks Spanish fluently and is very friendly. Breakfast was a bit pricey (though that’s normal in Switzerland). To reach our room we had to climb a flight of stairs because the elevator doesn’t go that high, though most rooms are accessible by lift.
