A well‑run place in a great spot, with common areas that feel royal, quiet, comfy rooms with lovely putti‑decorated headboards, well arranged with plenty of storage. The neighbourhood near the castle feels safe and has plenty of restaurants and cafés. The underground parking is handy for direct access with luggage, and the terrace below the building is shaded and pleasant. However, the parking is hard to find because of few signs (access from a perpendicular street) and many support pillars that make manoeuvring large cars or sedans tricky. The bathtubs in the bathrooms are a bit high and “old‑fashioned.” The welcome was friendly but a bit “young,” almost like a first‑year hospitality student, especially with the directions given.
