The price was good value. The central spot makes it easy to get in and out whether driving or taking the tram. Breakfast offers plenty of choices from green to brown and in-between. The rooms are appropriately sized. I really liked the Italian restaurant downstairs. The air conditioning isn’t fully adjustable and some noise lingers all night. The décor feels a bit dated, with visible wear on the furniture and walls.

The breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a wide selection of tasty treats. The rooms were very stylish and comfortable, and the whole building had a pleasant, open vibe. The main station and harbour are just a few minutes’ walk away. There are even loan umbrellas and hassle‑free luggage storage. Everything was really nice. A sauna would have been nice, but it’s not a major drawback. The TV selection could have been more international, but that’s not crucial. Keeping the windows closed (which is doable) makes the deluxe corner room on the third floor, with a view of the Swedish Theatre, very quiet; opening them brings the street noise (including trams) up sharply – understandable given the central location.
