“Una experiencia insólita y precaria a la vez”

It’s true that you don’t get to enjoy a night on a sailboat (no mast or sail) with all that comes with it—like the rocking of the boat, the feeling of floating, etc. In general it left a lot to be desired. First, the directions to the boat are not clear at all (they say where the parking is, but not that you have to cross a walkway, walk to the back of the street, and turn right twice); a map showing the boat’s location would have been appreciated. The time to walk from the car is also misleading (they say 1 minute, it’s actually 5). The boat is docked far from the parking, which is a problem when you’re carrying gear and food. The owner suggested we bring our own sheets and towels, but we also needed blankets and pillows, as well as dishes and cutlery (luckily I loaded them in the car!). Another important detail is that the boat has NO WC! With the boat keys you get the keys to the showers and toilets at the port, but you have to return to the parking and walk another 150 m. When it’s cold at night, that’s a problem (about 10 minutes to the restroom). They offer a plastic bucket for small needs, but to avoid it being an odor source all night you have to leave it out in view of all neighbors. Other quirks that don’t match the description at booking include a TV with no antenna (only DVDs), a microwave but no kitchen, a somewhat worn living‑room table that almost collapsed a couple of times (with dinner set up), dirty glasses or cups but no plates, and a couple of LED strips that create an intimate atmosphere but are limited for moving around the boat.

“Horrible, no se lo recomiendo a NADIE”

There is no sink; if you need to go to the bathroom you have to walk about 10 minutes, and when we arrived it was broken, so we couldn’t use it. It was dirty and the door wouldn’t close. For an extra 10€ you get a decent place to sleep.

I never met the host, and we were left outside until 2 am shivering in the cold. The booking service refused to take responsibility, so we had to make an international call and wait 40 minutes for someone to answer.
