I only needed a place for a night while transiting through the Hamptons, so I picked a hotel a short walk from the station. The room turned out to be surprisingly upscale – packed with gadgets, a great view, and spotless – though I missed breakfast because my train left early. The staff’s English was limited, but that didn’t bother me, and most of the other guests were Chinese, which felt a bit odd for a city not known for tourism.

The hotel meets the usual Hilton quality – clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained. The layout of the bathroom was a let‑down, with the toilet and shower sharing the same space instead of a separate en‑suite. On top of that, there was no bar or restaurant on site and the minibar was missing, which was a bit disappointing.

Being just steps from the main railway station made getting in and out a breeze. My room was surprisingly large and kept tidy throughout my stay. Nothing else to complain about.

The property sits a little out of town but is right next to a metro stop, which made getting around easy. The rooms were spotless and the neighborhood felt calm, even though it’s an area that’s still developing.
