The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, but room 106—especially the bathroom—needed a full overhaul. The toilet seat was loose, the towel holder was loose, the shelf under the mirror was loose, the sink was broken multiple times, the shower doors only closed with a lot of patience, and the fan was very loud. And that was just the bathroom! The living and sleeping area also needed a thorough cleaning, particularly under the bed.

The surroundings were pretty, the restaurant was good, parking was easy, and the staff were friendly.

The rooms were partially good and modernised, but the bathrooms turned out too small. Otherwise, it was fine for one or two nights. The extra half‑board (dinner) cost 39€ and I found that extremely expensive for a selection that isn’t for everyone. Unfortunately, this wasn’t visible at booking.

We stayed three days at the forest hotel. The staff were very friendly, breakfast was very varied and tasty, the wellness area was large and offered everything needed for relaxation, and the beds were comfortable. That was it. Overall, the hotel needs major renovations; the wellness area rusts at every corner, the rooms are outdated and need an upgrade. In one of our rooms there were dead beetles on the floor even after we asked multiple times and they were not removed. The lamps and furnishings were dusty. The baths were very small and old. The showers were partly broken, rusty, and mouldy.
